Americans spend lots of time and money taking care of the grass in
their yards on their property. Everyone wants their lawn to look like
a golf course. Weekends are spent cutting the grass, trimming hedges,
and pouring chemicals on the ground to kill weeds.
Dandelions are much hated by most property owning Americans. It is
amazing to see the time and money spent on killing dandelions. Having
the yellow flowers identifying this very healthy and cleansing plant
is considered embarrassing and shameful among neighbors, sort of like
having a dirty house or wearing cheap or old-fashioned clothes.
